We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction-related tasks. This role involves working outdoors on various projects, including site preparation, planting, and ongoing landscape care. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results and efficient project completion.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment used in landscaping projects
- Assist with construction-related activities such as retaining walls, patios, or pathways
- Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Skills
- Proven experience with excavation equipment such as excavators
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Expertise in gardening, horticulture, and landscape design principles
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and machinery operation
- Ability to perform landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately
- Familiarity with construction techniques relevant to outdoor projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
