Junior Training Coordinators Co-op

The Onboarding and Training Team is looking for co-op student to join the team as an Training & Documentation Administrator. This role will be responsible for assisting the Team in the maintenance and control of all training qualifications and personnel records in the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as documentation of training materials for the department.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate list of CanAtom training folders on the Shared Drive; ensures all training documentation is the most current revision; and is uploaded and stored electronically;
Ensure training material, documents and completion records are stored securely and are retrievable from Onboarding & Series Training shared project folder;
Assist in maintenance of learning management system and policy and procedure standards for data input, qualification structure and development, item set-up, resource set-up, data retrieval
Set up and entry of all welding and series training qualifications into the LMS.
Audit and monitor data integrity of qualifications, users and curricula within the LMS, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring training is completed for all contractor staff and documented to meet legislated internal and client requirements
Ensures training records are kept up-to-date in client and project Learning Management Software
Maintains electronic filing system for training material using SharePoint
Work with Training Coordinators to understand training demand
Administrative duties for the training department as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Human Resources, Business Management or related program.
Advanced skills in Microsoft office; including excel an asset.
Have a minimum GPA score of 3.0
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task on a regular basis.
Must have a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate with associated department.
Must have computer skills to perform duties including software experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
