Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic Server to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional serving—our servers take on multiple responsibilities, including hosting, bussing, running food, bartending, and making drinks. Unlike traditional restaurants where servers work in individual sections, our service model is fully team-based, meaning everyone works together to ensure seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner
- Take orders and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages
- Run food and drinks to tables promptly and accurately
- Buss and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including sake, wine, and cocktails
- Maintain a deep understanding of our menu, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Provide excellent customer service and anticipate guest needs
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations throughout service
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Basic wine knowledge required; sake and cocktail knowledge is a plus
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Responsible beverage service certification (e.g., ProServe) required
- A passion for Japanese cuisine and culture is an asset
