Job Description: Housekeeping Attendants (Seasonal)
Lakeside Villa & Nordic Spa, an upscale boutique motel located in the scenic town of Penticton is redefining the motel experience into a luxury retreat. As we prepare for a busy season, we seek a meticulous and enthusiastic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and providing exceptional service, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience in our renovated 16-unit all-suite offerings.
Purpose of Position
To ensure the appearance of all areas throughout Lakeside Villa are clean and maintained at the highest level of standards while providing exceptional guest service
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and overall guest satisfaction by ensuring guest rooms, public areas and Skaha Nordic Spa are clean, comfortable, and well stocked. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for all guests.
Respond promptly to guest requests for items such as extra towels and toiletries, providing personalized attention that enhances guest satisfaction.
Inspect inventory and condition of room furnishings, draperies, and motel-provided kitchen housewares, including coffee makers, dishes, and cutlery.
Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean and orderly fashion and ensure storage rooms & laundry supplies are well-stocked and organized.
Process laundry using on-site equipment; this includes loading, unloading, and folding laundry.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost/found items to the Property Manager promptly.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
Perform outdoor tasks as needed, including gardening and cleaning sidewalks, stairs, railings, lounging areas, and barbecues.
Complete other duties as assigned to support team and operations.

Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
High school education required; a combination of experience and education will also be considered.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and extensive periods of standing and walking.
Excellent multitasking skills and capability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Proficient in English, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
