JOB OPENING: Currently looking for a part-time supervisor who will be responsible for both daily cleaning and overseeing team members within a designated area along with administrative tasks. They will ensure a safe and professional work environment which fosters BEST culture, mission and values.
LOCATION: Various locations (Surrey, Burnaby & Vancouver)
SHIFT DAYS: Open flexibility required (Monday - Sunday)
SHIFT HOURS: Day and night shifts are available

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily duties of both light and heavy duty custodians
Train new hires and foster BEST’s company culture, mission, and values
Maintain open communication with Assistant Site Manager/Site Manager regarding staffing issues, safety, supplies, and other related business concerns
Facilitate staff meetings as required to implement policies, procedures and safety requirements
Maintain and secure storage areas and cleaning equipment/supplies ensuring safety of staff and the public
Perform light and heavy duty cleaning responsibilities including floor maintenance
Perform minor equipment repairs and report vandalism
Report equipment repairs and stock shortages
Other duties as required per business needs
Skills and Abilities:
Friendly and positive attitude
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Basic English communication skills (verbal and written)
Knowledge of WHIMIS and standard cleaning products, chemicals, and procedures (ASSET)
Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
Able to work weekends when required
Previous housekeeping experience
