Position Overview:
As a Folder Gluer Operator at Mi5 Print & Digital, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the machine to ensure high-quality binding of printed materials. You will play a crucial role in producing perfect-bound books, catalogs, and various publications. The ideal candidate should have experience operating Folder Gluer machine and an understanding of quality control, mechanical troubleshooting, and production efficiency.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented B&R Folder Gluer Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain B&R Folder Gluer machinery, ensuring efficient and accurate production of high-quality packaging products.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain B&R Folder Gluer machines to produce quality folding cartons and packaging products.
- Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot to ensure accurate alignment, fold quality, and gluing accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure machinery runs efficiently and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation or packaging is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating B&R Folder Gluer or similar folding and gluing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make minor machine adjustments.
- Ability to lift and carry up to [specified weight] and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work evening/overnight shifts and weekends if required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
