Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Equipment Operator & Slab Prep Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, preparing construction slabs, and supporting our project teams in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile multifamily projects while honing your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction.
Duties
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other job-site equipment
- Perform slab preparation for plumbing installations
- Excavation and trenching for underground plumbing
- Backfilling and compaction
- Gravel placement and grading
- Assist with underground piping layout
- Prepare slab penetrations and sleeves
- Coordinate with foremen and site supervisors
- Maintain equipment and complete daily inspections
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
