Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking processes, including welding, machining, and blueprint reading. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components for various projects, ensuring precision and quality in every task. Candidates with experience in , elevator construction and the use of power tools will find this position particularly suitable. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Operate various fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, torches , and welding tools (MIG and TIG welding)
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install metal components
- Perform rigging and crane operations for lifting heavy materials safely
- Measure materials accurately using calipers and other measuring devices
- Conduct machining tasks to achieve precise dimensions
- Fabricate structural components for construction or industrial applications
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts according to project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication processes
- Experience with plasma cutting, and machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Understanding of rigging procedures and crane operation safety standards
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards related to elevator construction, and assembly processes
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
