We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Treatment Coordinator with at least 2 years of dental experience for our FLAGSHIP NON-ASSIGNMENT location in Scarborough. The applicant must be professional, detailed oriented, patient-centered with excellent customer service skills and a team player. They must also have an interest to learn, strong organizational and computer skills. Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Dental Treatment Coordinator role involves frequent interaction with patients, dental staff, and sometimes external specialists. Your key responsibilities include:
- Patient Care and Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure patients receive high-quality care.
- Follow up with patients after procedures to ensure their well-being and satisfaction.
- Patient Experience: Prioritize patient satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service at every touchpoint. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously.
- Patient Consultation and Education:
- Meet with patients to discuss treatment plans recommended by the dentist.
- Explain and educate patients on dental procedures (including Dental implants, Invisalign, hard and soft tissue grafting), expected outcomes, and answer any questions or concerns.
- Empower patients to make informed decisions about their oral health and treatment options.
- Treatment Plan Coordination:
- Work closely with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Schedule appointments for various procedures and ensure the plan is followed through.
- Coordinate with specialists if additional treatments or referrals are needed.
- Financial Coordination:
- Provide estimates of treatment costs and discuss financial arrangements with patients.
- Explain insurance coverage and benefits, assisting patients with claims and pre-authorizations.
- Coordinate payment plans and discuss financing options when necessary.
- Billing and Collections: Our office is a NON-ASSIGNMENT office with minimal Accounts Receivables. Oversee the billing process, including insurance claims submission, patient invoicing, and payment collections.
- Appointment Management:
- Efficiently schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dental team’s time by minimizing gaps between appointments and maximizing productivity.
- Maintain the dental practice schedule, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Follow up with patients to schedule appointments for treatments, check-ups, or follow-ups.
- Send reminders and confirmations for upcoming appointments.
- Oversee the daily appointment schedule, including patient check-ins, updating dental providers on patient arrival status (on-time, early, or late), monitoring appointment completion times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a dental office
- A clinical background (CDA, RDH) is a valuable asset, along with experience using OPEN DENTAL software.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols. Specifically with invisalign, dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex dental procedures in an understandable manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach to customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, ability to adapt and self motivated

Salary: $33.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35+ hours per week
Must be available some evenings + Saturdays when needed
Chinese speaking is an asset but not necessary.
