Position Summary
The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive project controls support across complex capital, infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects. This role serves as a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective planning, monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project cost baselines, WBS, CBS and control accounts.
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, incurred costs, forecasts, EAC and FAC.
- Review project changes and assess cost and schedule impacts.
- Prepare project dashboards, executive reports and variance analyses.
- Support annual capital budgeting and financial planning.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Schedulers, Engineering, Procurement and Finance.
- Maintain project documentation and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with project controls standards and governance.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support integrated cost and schedule management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Data Analytics or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of Project Controls or Cost Management experience.
- Experience supporting capital, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, budgeting, WBS/CBS, change management and project lifecycle management.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP
- AACE / CCP or equivalent Project Controls certification.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and SharePoint.
- Experience with Contruent Enterprise (ARES PRISM), Oracle Primavera Unifier, EcoSys, Deltek Cobra or similar software.

Pay: $70.00-$100.00 per hour
