Weins Canada Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Recruiting Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
What You Bring:
A friendly and engaging personality that makes people feel at ease
Strong background in recruiting with experience using a Talent Management System (experience with Talent Nest is an asset)
Ability to communicate effectively with hiring managers to establish needs and skills for the role you are recruiting for
Proven experience in candidate sourcing solutions, networking, and finding creative and unique ways to source talent
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite
Team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail and effective decision making and problem solving skills
A strong understanding of social media and the ability to promote our opportunities on various platforms in unique and attractive ways
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources is required; CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset
Partner with hiring manager to determine staffing needs and specific requirements, post positions on various recruiting job boards, websites and social media platforms
Create networks of talent and maintain engagement for future position availability acting as a point of contact, and building influential candidate relationships, maximizing your networks and social presence to build talent pools and brand the company
Maximize exposure of open positions in an effort to attract potential applicants
Screen resumes in a timely manner and forward to hiring managers, following up with the hiring manager until a successful candidate is selected
As required, conduct interviews with candidates, and/or administer appropriate company assessments
Complete all new-hire paperwork with successful candidates that are offered a job opportunity – ensuring all legal requirements are met and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
