Seeking a full time nurse for a busy outpatient neurology clinic focusing in Multiple Sclerosis. Responsibilities of the nursing position include:
- Complete documentation to obtain private and provincial coverage for medications
- Liaise with patients to ensure they are medically cleared to start medications
- Coordinate infusion logistics
- Triage and return patient phone calls
- Complete clinical pre-assessments (such as taking blood pressure, visual acuity, administering cognitive tests and medication reconciliation).
The ideal candidate would demonstrated proficiency/experience with administration skills. Experience using immunomodulators/immunosuppressants (such as in rheumatology or oncology) is a plus. Experience with Accuro EMR is a plus.
The Forest City Neurology Clinic is a 2000 square foot facility located in downtown London in a modern new building. The clinic looks after a large population (n = 1500) patients with MS and related conditions from all over southwestern Ontario.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
