Job Description:
MPI is seeking dedicated and hardworking Experienced Labourers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support construction, maintenance, and other labor-intensive projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Duties:
· Assist in the excavation and exposure of pipelines for integrity inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
· Support site preparation activities, including clearing vegetation, grading, and setting up work areas.
· Perform manual labour tasks such as shoveling, lifting, carrying materials.
· Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety procedures.
· Participate in daily toolbox meetings and hazard assessments.
· Handle and maintain tools and equipment such as shovels, pneumatic tools, compactors, and hydraulic equipment.
· Assist with coating removal, cleaning, and preparation of pipe surfaces for inspection and repair.
· Support non-destructive testing (NDT) crews and inspection personnel as required.
· Help with loading, unloading, and staging materials, equipment, and supplies.
· Follow direction from supervisors and adapt to changing work scopes and priorities.
· Assist in demobilization and site reclamation after completion of work.
Requirements:
H2S Alive
First Aid
Construction Safety Orientation (CSO)
Ground Disturbance Level II
Clean Drug and Alcohol test
Valid Class 5 licence
