Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews to diagnose mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough analysis of patient needs and medical history.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited to each patient’s unique circumstances.
- Maintain detailed case management records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Utilize computer operation skills to document patient progress, manage electronic health records, and prepare reports using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Requirements
- A valid license or certification as a Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children and diverse patient populations in hospital or clinical settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management procedures, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation and analysis purposes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within hospital settings or healthcare environments is preferred.
- Ability to apply analysis skills for complex case evaluation and treatment planning.
