A brand-new 10-court indoor pickleball facility with a café and licensed bar opens mid-September in Dieppe.
This is a blended role for people who like variety. You will tend the café in the mornings or the bar in the evenings, plate grab-and-go orders, run a boardroom catering setup, and work the floor on a league night. If you want to do one narrow thing all day, this is not it. If you want to learn all of it, it is.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take and serve food and drink orders: table service, counter, or pickup depending on demand
- Prepare specialty coffees, and pour and serve beer, wine, and cocktails
- Prep, heat, and plate grab-and-go and light menu items on Merrychef ovens. No deep fryer
- Set up and serve catering for boardroom meetings and private events
- Keep the café, bar, kitchen, and dining area clean and up to code, and help with general facility cleanliness during quiet periods
- Complete daily liquor inventory counts, handle payments, and cash out at the end of your shift
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- NB Responsible Beverage (TIANB) and food handler certification are assets, not requirements to apply.
- Barista, bar, kitchen, or food service experience an asset, and draft line experience is a bonus
- Bilingual (English / French) is a strong asset
- Available mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Comfortable standing for most of a shift, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working around heat, steam, and sharp tools, with or without accommodation
WHAT WE OFFER
- $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, based on experience and certification
- Full-time, part-time, and casual positions. Shifts are built around the availability you give us, and we are hiring for all times of day
- Paid training starting 2 to 3 weeks before we open

- We close when the facility closes. No late-night bar close, and free on-site parking
- Brand-new café, bar, and kitchen, and room to grow into lead roles
