Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Support Workers to provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is vital in supporting individuals with varying needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, or individuals recovering from illness. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health conditions
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when required
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice support, or working with individuals with disabilities
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care environments preferred
- Experience in patient care, senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of caregiving tasks
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
