Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)
Metrotown Floors + Interiors is looking for a motivated and organized Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our Project Managers to help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
This position is currently part-time (20 hours per week), working 4–5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as our company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emails promptly and professionally
- Support and follow up with Project Managers on active projects
- Schedule installers and prepare work orders
- Track job progress, material orders, estimates, approvals, and project status
- Coordinate deliveries and material pick-ups
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory coordination
- Communicate with homeowners, tenants, property managers, and building managers to arrange site access
- Maintain accurate job files and detailed project notes
- Monitor project schedules and communicate any changes promptly
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, suppliers, and installers regarding scheduling, material availability, and estimated delivery dates
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Contact suppliers for pricing, product availability, and lead times
- Assist customers and Project Managers with product selections in our showroom

- Experience in an administrative or operations coordination role is an asset
- Experience in the flooring, construction, restoration, cabinetry, or interior design industry is a strong asset

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4–5 hours per day (20 hours per week)
Compensation: Starting at $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
