Pinchin is seeking a Receptionist to join our team in Mississauga. The role reports to the Procurement and Administration Manager.
Role Overview:
This role supports Pinchin’s Head office by providing front-line administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for incoming communications, visitors, and deliveries, while supporting staff with general administrative tasks.
Your Role and Action
- Greeting visitors, answering calls and directing them to appropriate department handling incoming and outgoing faxes
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages
- Ordering office and kitchen supplies as needed
- Directing facilities issues to Facilities Coordinator
- Directing Equipment (i.e. copiers) issues to IT Department
What You’ll Bring to Pinchin
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position - experience in an architectural/engineering environment will be ideal
- Professional and friendly communication (phone, in-person, and email)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent phone etiquette and call handling
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy (mail, cheques, courier tracking)
- Basic administrative and office support skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to manage office supplies and coordinate orders
- Problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support staff and vendors
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities
