Position: Shingle Preservation Technician (Part-Time / Casual)
Compensation: $50/hour + commission opportunities (Plus premium pay for steep roofs)

We apply a 100% active, USDA-certified bio-based shingle preservation treatment that restores flexibility, enhances color, and extends the life of asphalt shingles for a fraction of replacement costs. We are looking for an experienced roofing professional to join our innovative team in Calgary on a flexible, part-time basis.

What You’ll Do
- Apply Treatment: Efficiently apply our cutting-edge, plant-based shingle preservation treatments to residential and commercial roofs.
- Inspect & Assess: Evaluate roof conditions, identify minor damage, and recommend appropriate preservation solutions.
- Prioritize Safety: Participate in mandatory pre-job safety walkthroughs and maintain strict adherence to fall protection protocols on every site.
- Deliver Quality: Ensure every project meets the premium craftsmanship standards of Bright Green Roof.
What We’re Looking For
- Roofing Expertise: Solid hands-on roofing experience is essential. You know your way around a roof and understand asphalt shingles.
- Flexible Availability: Ability to commit to 1–3 days a week as projects become available (good weather days only). Perfect for supplementing a standard schedule.
- Equipped & Ready: You take pride in your craft and prefer working with your own trusted hand tools and gear.
- Detail-Oriented: You care about clean work, respect the homeowner’s property, and possess a customer-first mindset.
Requirements
- Roofing Experience (Required)
- Fall Arrest / Fall Protection Certification (Mandatory)
- Own Tools: Bonus if you have your own standard roofing hand tools and safety gear/PPE (harness, pouch, boots, etc.). Specialized treatment application equipment is provided by us.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Calgary-area job sites.
- First Aid Certification (Preferred but not required)
