As the Data Analyst, you will provide a range of custom and standard analytical services, leveraging data and business knowledge to effectively manage projects within the scope and timelines for each department initiative.
Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, Financial Services, you will collaborate within the team and wider stakeholders to understand their operations, data structures, project and analytical requirements. You will partner with them managing projects and tasks to enable timely cost effective execution. to create, and/or recommend data driven analytics.

Position Responsibilities

Within financial services teams, work closely with marketing, operations, product team and cross-functional business partners to understand reporting requirements, identify gaps and build out reporting solutions.
2. Effectively retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources, compile and interprete data into a digestible and actionable format.
3. Drive insights and create action plan to seek growth opportunities.
4. Build and interpret program performance analysis across all product & services related to; acquisition, engagement, retention, redemption, profitability etc.
5. Act as the bridge between the business and technical teams for the data domain, coordinating with various business and engineering teams on data quality issues and issue resolutions.
6. Build organization-wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood for success.
7. Ensure reporting compliance within organization managing data integrity, contributing to the documentation, QA, and organization of our datasets.
8. Execute and manage multiple projects utilizing established standard project management methodology from conceptualization to implementation. This includes planning, scheduling, monitoring and managing projects through the entire systems development lifecycle and to ensure time, cost and scope meets commitments
9. Support Financial services team in Planning & Budgeting exercises
10. Build Cubes/ Data Marts for Financial services data
11. Develop Automated solutions for Data Visulations & Reporting
12. Responsilbe for running quality checks and reconcilations exercises to ensure accurate reporting

Minimum Education Required: BA/BS degree in Finance/Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields
Minimum Years of Experience Required: Min 3 years of experience in financial services, marketing analytics, business intelligence, statistical modeling or other analytical methodology

Licensing & Other Qualifications

  • High proficiency with SQL and/or other analytical programing language and BI (Business Intelligence) tool, at least 3 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodology, Credit Card & Loyatly/Rewards space
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools as Tableau
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.)
  • Outstanding verbal communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
  • Highly developed analytical, strategic-thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
  • High level of attention to detail, including the ability to assess and synthesize large amounts of data.
  • Proficient at writing SQL queries against complex databases for the purpose of data extraction.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, success-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • Visual Studio or ETL Experience is a plus
  • Big Data Experience is a plus
