We are looking for a highly confident, organized and energetic individual to fill a full-time Parts Technician position (will consider an apprentice). Come join us and be part of a well-rounded family-oriented company.
Responsibility:
- Identify parts needs of customer equipment
- Ask appropriate questions to ensure the parts requirements are diagnosed correctly.
- Read and interpret parts diagnostics and diagrams
- Provide repair and maintenance recommendations to the customer
- Advise customers of estimated costs and delivery/arrival time of parts
- Participate in an annual inventory counting of all items.
- Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces..
- Ensure parts are labelled, inventoried and assigned correctly.
Skills and experience:
- Parts Technician Certification preferred but willing to train for the right applicant
- An understanding of equipment mechanics
- An understanding of local farming practices.
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Highly organized
- Experience with computerized inventory system
