We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Daycare Staff member to join our team for a seasonal summer position.
The successful candidate will help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while assisting with daily activities and routines. This position is 35–40 hours per week and offers the potential for a permanent full-time position in the fall, based on performance and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with meals, outdoor play, and daily routines.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Follow all health and safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- Reliable, caring, and able to work as part of a team.
