Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician / Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on various vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on vehicles, ensuring proper levels and quality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist in sales of additional services or products related to vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair is advantageous.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the ability to lift equipment or parts as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in automotive maintenance.
- Competent at tire changes
- Clean up shop/ take out garbage
