North Span Freight Ltd. is a new transportation and logistics company service Prince Rupert and Northwest British Columbia. We are building our business on reliability, safety, customer service, and strong community relationships.

We’re looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Class 5 Driver / Dock Worker who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on freight handling. This position combines local pickup and delivery work with warehouse and dock responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who likes variety in their day and takes pride in doing the job right.
What you’ll do:
- Safely operate company vehicles for local pickup and delivery routes
- Load, unload, and secure freight for transport
- Strip inbound trailers and containers
- Build and load outbound trailers
- Inspect freight for damage and verify shipment documentation
- Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery and freight records
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Follow company safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Assist with general warehouse and dock operations as required
What we’re looking for:
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Previous forklift experience
- Previous delivery, freight, transportation, warehouse, or dock experience is an asset
- Ability to safely lift and move freight on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
Available Shifts – Tuesday to Saturday
- 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
