Sales Associate
Reports To:

Summary:
The Country Butcher is open, and we require Sales Associates to work in our Retail Store. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, stocking product, inventory control, sales, and getting feedback from customers on products.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and create a positive shopping environment for guests.
- Open and close store, conduct daily inventory, process sales, balance daily receipts, and balance daily receipts, and inform management of customer concerns or suggestions.
- Complete order pick sheet at the end of each day to restock product the following morning.
- Monitor weekly sales, make recommendations for products changes, and deal with customer concerns.
- Maintenance cash float and ask accounting for replenishment of float.
- Other related duties to the sales in the store.
Experience/Skills
- Experience in a retail management role, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of/or willing to learn about meat products and associated items.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in math for cash handling and reporting purposes.
- Proficiency in Point of Sales Systems, Inventory Management, and balancing of daily sales.
- Ability to work with other departments.
Working Schedule/Conditions
- 3-4 days a week - Monday and Wednesday 9:30am-6:00pm, Thursday and Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 7:30 am-4:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm
- Deal with customers concerns and a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift 15 kg.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
