Signarama Mississauga Central is looking to hire a skilled and reliable Sign Fabricator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in building and assembling different types of signage.
Responsibilities
The Sign Fabricator will be responsible for:
- Fabricating and assembling signs, panels, displays, channel letters, dimensional letters, and custom signage
- Working with materials such as acrylic, aluminum, ACM, PVC, coroplast, vinyl, wood, and other substrates
- Cutting, drilling, sanding, routing, mounting, and finishing sign components
- Applying vinyl graphics, decals, laminates, and printed materials when required
- Preparing substrates and materials for production and installation
- Reading work orders, layouts, measurements, and production drawings
- Using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment safely
- Assisting with basic electrical sign assembly when applicable
- Maintaining quality control to ensure clean, accurate, professional finished products
- Keeping the production area clean, organized, and safe
- Supporting installers and production staff as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in sign fabrication, sign production, carpentry, metalwork, or a related trade Required
- Previous experience operating a CNC Machine and Channel letter bender is preferred, training will be provided
- Experience working with acrylic, aluminum, ACM, PVC, and other sign materials is an asset
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, routers, and measuring equipment
- Ability to read measurements, layouts, and basic production drawings
- Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Vinyl application experience is an asset
- Driver’s license is an asset but not required

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
