The Food & Beverage Warehouse Staff play a vital role in supporting operations during the annual 10-day Western Fair. This physically demanding position is responsible for receiving, organizing, transporting, and replenishing food and beverage inventory across the fairgrounds to ensure concession stands and licensed bars remain fully stocked throughout operating hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver beverage products and supplies to vendors, concession stands, and licensed bars throughout the fairgrounds.
- Safely transport heavily loaded carts through busy pedestrian areas.
- Restock Western Fair-operated food and beverage locations throughout each shift.
- Obtain signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately.
- Load, unload, organize, rotate, and store inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.
- Assist with event setup, teardown, and other operational duties.
- Follow safe lifting practices and all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform additional general labour duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy products throughout the day.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat.
- Ability to safely maneuver equipment through large crowds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Western Fair.
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Previous warehouse, delivery, inventory, or general labour experience is considered an asset but is not required.

Hiring Process

Successful applicants will be expected to attend mandatory paid orientation and position-specific training sessions scheduled throughout late August and early September. Training dates will be communicated during the hiring process.
The Western Fair is a 10-day event, and successful candidates are expected to be available for the duration of the Fair, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $17.60-$28.73 per hour
