1. Provide a program based on the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social needs
of the child.
2. Develop an individual service plan for the child based on the identified goals and in
collaboration with family, Ministry Social Workers and other community professionals
and resources.
3. Maintains documentation on goals on agency database and submits updated goal
reports to MCFD as requested.
4. Work with parents, as required, to promote understanding of the growth and
development of their child.
5. Value and respect each parent’s ideals, culture, concerns and abilities.
6. Work with individual community members, resources and agencies to foster
opportunities for inclusion of children with diverse needs.
B. Organization:
1. Meet with Manager/Director of Community Living Services as required and keep
updated on significant issues.
2. Assist Community Living Services Manager/Director with maintenance and revision of
Program Operating Manual.
3. Meet with Ministry Staff as required.
4. Other related duties as required.
