Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to clients’ specifications
- Assist clients with consultations to determine their desired look and recommend suitable services or products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Promote retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Foster a positive client experience through excellent communication skills, ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products to offer innovative solutions
Requirements
- Previous experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred; licensing or certification may be required depending on local regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is advantageous but not mandatory
