Inside Technical Sales Representative – Boucherville Office, March 2022

This position is located in our Boucherville office and support two to three outside sales representatives in Quebec/Ontario/Manitoba. A bilingual candidate (French and English), is mandatory.
The successful candidate for the Inside Technical Representative position will be a sales professional with a technical background in Instrumentation Engineering Technology, or a related discipline and relationships within the industry. Vanko offer an above competitive salary and compensation plan.
Position Description : This position will work directly with our Inside Sales Department and report to the Inside Sales Coordinator.
Primary responsibilities are;
-Work with our customer base, end users and engineering firms, to provide equipment proposals, technical support, and customer assistance.
-Specification of instrumentation and analytical equipment
-Support and work directly with one of our outside sales teams to provide customers with pricing and technical information required.
-Position also requires working directly with our core manufacturers to properly specify instrumentation, determine deliveries and manage the sales process.
-Provide not only day-day pricing and technical information, but also work on large scale projects for Western Canadian based companies.
Skills:
-A bilingual candidate is much preferred. Interview will be conducted in French and English.
-Experience with level and flow instrumentation, gas detection, intrinsic safety, and analytical instrumentation would be a definite asset
-Dynamic personality that enjoys social situations, and networking with industry professionals
-Commitment to the use of ACT CRM for scheduling, opportunities, and projects
-Work directly with Product Managers and Manufacturer Regional Managers to actively promote our products throughout the territory.
-Minimum 2 years experience in inside technical sales with a proven track record of sales, with a minimum 2 years in oil & gas sector. Instrumentation experience is definitely preferred.
