We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a part-time Resort Staff. This is a duel position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service for our guests by providing administration and reservation services, as well as house keeping.
Applicants MUST HAVE administrative experience in a customer service role, preferably in hotel or resort or they MUST HAVE house keeping or commercial cleaning experience. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
**Job Overview:**
As Resort Staff, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of resort reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, cleaning and resetting guest rooms, wash/dry,/fold of laundry, restocking, and general upkeep . You will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing them with excellent customer service and assisting them with their accommodation needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and efficiency.
- Process resort reservations accurately and promptly using the resort's reservation system.
- Provide information to guests regarding room availability, rates, and resort amenities.
- Assist guests with special requests, preferences, and accommodations to ensure their satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other resort staff to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest interactions.
- Upsell resort services and amenities to guests when appropriate.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
- Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized reservation desk area.
-Clean guest rooms/apartments/cottage, including resetting.
-Restocking accommodations.
-Laundry: wash, dry, and fold.
-Cleaning and maintenance of buildings.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to active problem solve issues as they arise and escalate to appropriate management as needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reservation processing.
- Proficiency in using computerized reservation systems and basic office software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
-Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (will be required to drive to multiple locations to perform work).
- Previous experience in a hotel/resort is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management is a plus.
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry weight up to 25kg.
