Pourquoi ce rôle est important ?
Located at our Shoppers Drug Mart Head Office at 243 Consumers Rd, the Analyst will analyze rich pharmacy and customer loyalty data across Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw enterprise. In this role you will be supporting Pharmacy Business Analytics team in driving business insights and delivering sound recommendations to various stakeholders and internal clients. You may also have the opportunity to provide analytical support for unique projects and enterprise-wide analytical initiatives such as Digital Pharmacy.
What will you be doing?
Translate business issues into actionable data analyses using various BI tools: SQL, Microstategy, Advanced Excel (VBA is a nice to have)
Extract, review, manipulate and automate patient behavior & pharmacy sales data for analysis and reporting through dashboards, reports or presentations
Work collaboratively with various stakeholders in Pharmacy and Front Store Analytics on cross functional projects and initiatives
Actively identify and execute initiatives to improve process and data infrastructure
Analyze data to identify key insights and develop creative and fact-based recommendations that are actionable by the business

Who you are?
A technically savvy undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree or completed a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
Interested in a career in Analytics and Loyalty working for Canada's largest retailer and pharmacy leader making a difference in health and wellness for millions of Canadians on a daily basis
A go-getter with strong communication skills, who takes initiative to ask "So What?" questions
