Job Overview:
We are seeking a well-organized and fast-learning Inside Sales representative to join our team.
The ideal candidate will help our corporate team run more smoothly and efficiently by liasing with distribution contacts, processing customer orders and requests, and reporting sales data and market research to the management team. This role will work cooperatively with internal teams from Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations, to drive increased sales and delivery customer satisfaciton to BCOM's corporate clients.
Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment would be key requirements for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Prospecting, promoting, and selling IT products/services to new and existing customers via phone or email.
- Technical Support/Consultation: Understanding client needs to recommend appropriate hardware/software configurations and providing technical info.
- Account Management: Preparing quotations, processing orders, negotiating prices, and nurturing relationships.
- Product Expertise: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of current computer technology and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of computer hardware, software, and IT solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for client consultations.
- Sales Ability: Proven negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, business, or marketing is often preferred, along with relevant sales experience.
Salary $18 per hour + sales commission
