We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, styling, and coloring procedures
- Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive salon experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering product recommendations
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their preferences are understood and met
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and salon sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Ability to promote retail sales through effective upselling strategies
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the salon environment
