What we need:
The Unit Secretary is a valuable member of the Fracture Clinic team and has a significant impact on the efficient and effective operation of the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for receptionist duties which include: greeting and registering patients, entering x-ray orders, answering phone calls, returning voice messages and scheduling clinic appointments.

The successful candidate is required to be available Monday to Friday (7.5 hour shifts) on a casual basis.
Ranges from $23.14 – 26.03 per hour.
What you bring to MSH:
Previous Unit Secretary experience, with experience in an outpatient/clinic setting preferred
Previous experience in a fast paced environment required
A strong customer service focus is required
Computer/typing skills are essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, prioritizing, and problem solving
Experience with Meditech and Community Wide Scheduling is an asset
Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
