AZ Flatbed Driver – Local Runs
BRS Concepts is hiring an experienced AZ Flatbed Driver for an urgent contractual opportunity with an established manufacturing client in Bradford, Ontario.
The driver will be responsible for local transportation of aluminum products/materials from the Bradford facility.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable AZ driver who is comfortable operating a flatbed trailer and handling metal/aluminum loads.
Position Details
- Position: AZ Flatbed Driver
- Location: Bradford, Ontario
- Pay: Up to $30.00/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Approximately 6:00 AM
- End Time: Approximately 4:00–5:00 PM
- Assignment: 1-month contractual position

- Equipment: Automatic day cab with flatbed trailer

Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle with a flatbed trailer.
- Transport aluminum products and materials on local routes originating from Bradford.
- Properly inspect, secure and transport loads in accordance with applicable safety and load-securement requirements.
- Safely handle and secure metal/aluminum products on a flatbed.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate E-Logs and/or paper logs as required.
- Follow all applicable Ministry of Transportation regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and the customer.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record.
- Ensure all cargo is transported safely and securely.
- Perform other transportation-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ driver's licence.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable AZ commercial driving experience.
- Previous flatbed driving experience.
- Experience operating automatic-transmission day-cab equipment.
- Experience using electronic logs (E-Logs) and paper logs.
- Experience with proper flatbed load securement.
- Previous experience hauling steel, aluminum, or other metal products is strongly preferred.
- Clean and safe driving history.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety and load securement.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00 AM to 4:00–5:00 PM.
- Ability to reliably report to the Bradford location.
- Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
Enhanced BRS Driver Verification
This position is being filled under BRS Concepts' Enhanced Driver Verification process.
Selected candidates will be subject to additional employment and driving-history verification. Where available, BRS will obtain documentation confirming:
- Previous commercial vehicle type(s) operated
- Relevant driving/employment experience
- Employment history
- Claims and accident history during the applicable employment period
Candidates must be willing to participate in the required verification process.

This is an initial 1-month contractual assignment, with the possibility of additional opportunities depending on the client's requirements and performance.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

- Can you provide a Letter of Experience from a previous employer OR your insurance company/insurer documenting at least 2 years of heavy/commercial vehicle driving experience, including the type of vehicle driven, dates of driving experience, and confirmation of no claims history during that period?
- Have you had any at-fault accidents or insurance claims during your recent commercial driving employment?
- Are you able to reliably report to the Bradford, Ontario area for local runs starting around 6:00 AM?
- Are you available to start immediately or within the next few days?
