Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 310S Licensed Automotive Technician to join our service team at our Whitby location.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Buick, GMC, and other GM vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Execute repairs including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to ensure accurate and efficient service.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with service advisors and parts department to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with GM training, certifications, and industry advancements.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License (Red Seal preferred).
- Experience as a licensed technician, preferably with General Motors vehicles.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and GM-specific software.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Team player with strong communication and customer service skills.
- GM-specific training or certifications are an asset.
