Job Summary
Plank Restobar Augusta is seeking friendly and professional Hosts/Hostesses to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and waitlists, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude
- Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Coordinate seating to maximize dining room efficiency
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Address guest questions and concerns courteously and professionally
- Support front-of-house operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, host/hostess, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Professional appearance and positive work ethic
