Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering food safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and on time.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during every delivery.
- Verify orders before leaving the store to ensure accuracy.
- Collect cash, debit, or credit card payments and provide receipts when required.
- Follow all traffic laws and practice safe driving at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and roadworthy delivery vehicle.
- Assist with food preparation and order assembly during non-delivery times.
- Answer phone calls and take customer orders when needed.
- Help with cleaning and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Restock boxes, sauces, beverages, and other supplies.
- Communicate with store staff to ensure efficient order preparation and delivery.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and report issues to the manager.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations.
- Follow all company policies, food safety, and health and safety standards.
- Represent the Domino's brand with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration (if using a personal vehicle).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
- Ability to follow directions and use GPS/navigation tools.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) and carry multiple pizza bags.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs during deliveries.
- Knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods is an asset.
- Must comply with all food safety, health, and company policies.
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
