0.8 F.T.E. TERM SPECIFIC LIBRARIAN AND LITERACY TEACHER
A 0.8 F.T.E. Term Specific Librarian and Literacy teacher is required for Kent Elementary School effective September 8, 2026, to June 25, 2027 teaching Monday through Thursday subject to the return of the incumbent.
The successful applicant must possess:
- a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
- University degree in elementary education.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- a previous record of successful experience in Library or a degree/diploma in Library Sciences;
- a focus on Early Literacy;
- experience and/or In-service/Professional Development working with Indigenous Students, their families, and communities.
Salary: $61,502 – 113,628 depending on Category and Grid Level
