We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to come in and support the accounting/operations team.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:
- The Accounting Clerk will support the accounting operations team as needed.
- Responsible for opening, sorting and distributing mail.
- Verify and handle data entry for Accounts Payable and disbursements.
- Code all invoices and reimbursement and enter into the accounting system.
- Receive checks and prepare a list of checks to deposit checks electronically.
- Process charges and collection of payments for staff.
- Handle special projects as assigned by management and senior accounting staff.
Experience for the role:
- General Accounting experience
- Attention to detail
- Solid Word/Excel
- Organized and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.15 to $25.26 /hour
