Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time & Part-Time

We are a busy, well-established multidisciplinary clinic located at Yonge & Steeles. Our clinic serves a high volume of patients through OHIP and private services. In addition to physiotherapy care, we provide braces, compression stockings, and custom orthotics, offering a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and patient-focused Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinic and wants to grow within the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with treatment plans and patient care
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and rehabilitation programs
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment
- Apply modalities (e.g., heat, ice, TENS, ultrasound) as directed
- Ensure smooth patient flow in a busy clinic environment
- Educate patients on basic exercises and home care routines
- Support front desk tasks when needed (booking, patient coordination)
- Assist with product support including braces and compression stockings
Qualifications
- Physiotherapy Assistant diploma - PTA/ OTA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is an asset
