Are you hands-on and eager to be part of a dynamic team? Slimline Manufacturing is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our dedicated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with kitting according to work orders, BOMs, or pick lists as required
Assemble and verify kits for production to ensure completeness and accuracy
Deliver kits to the production floor on time to support build schedules
- Production Operations Support:
Assist in various shop tasks, including shop organization, maintaining equipment, and supporting production operations.
Assist in the movement and storage of items, including operating forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
Help with the upkeep and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in safe working condition.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Work closely with team members to communicate needs and updates, fostering a collaborative environment.
Support the Production Team with other tasks and responsibilities as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical for kitting)
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Ability to read BOMs, work orders, and pick lists
· 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
· Basic computer skills include Microsoft 365
· ERP experience is an asset
· Team player and clear communication skills
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
· Must have ability to lift to 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
· Position requires employee to stand for up to 8 hours at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
· Valid driving license
