Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve beverages accurately, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
- Handle cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management
- Restock supplies as needed to keep the bar fully equipped for busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for cashiering and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and tallying orders accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal alcohol service regulations
- Basic food industry knowledge to ensure quality service standards are met
