Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our construction team as a sub contractor. you will be paid by the job and by the end of each job. Must use your own car and tools. This role involves installing and replacing windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision and craftsmanship, contributing to high-quality building finishes.
Duties
- Measure openings accurately to ensure proper fit of windows and doors.
- Prepare work areas by removing old fixtures, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring structural integrity.
- Install windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, caulking, and other specialized equipment.
- Seal installations with caulking or weatherproofing materials to ensure energy efficiency and weather resistance.
- Assist with related tasks such as framing work as needed on-site.
- Maintain a clean workspace during and after project completion to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in window and door installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other installation equipment.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and installations.
- Driver license and car required, you will be needed to transport materials on occasion.
Pay: $200.00-$500.00 per day
