Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. The Nail Technician will also have the chance to engage in retail sales and upselling to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and comply with health regulations
- Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and safety
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell retail products like nail care items, lotions, and polishes to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Educate clients on proper nail care maintenance and aftercare instructions
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Qualifications
- Experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization techniques
- Ability to perform body waxing services (nice-to-have)
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Good hygiene practices and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.20-$20.00 per hour
