Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in high-rise and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Weld pipes as necessary for specific plumbing applications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimating materials.
- Experience in building or carpentry is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques applicable to plumbing work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
