Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods, assisting with moving operations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport items between locations
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture, equipment, or supplies using proper lifting techniques
- Use forklifts and other equipment as needed to move heavy or bulky items
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery or move details
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicle interior
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety during operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
Experience
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety standards is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license suitable for operating commercial vehicles required (drivers only)
