Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells
- Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas regularly
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all common areas are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times
- Support housekeeping staff with additional duties during busy periods
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established safety procedures and sanitation standards in all tasks
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor while interacting with guests and staff
- Respond to guest requests with care and attention
Experience
- Previous Maintenance or cleaning experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
- Experience in hospitality or custodial roles demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols
- Willingness to learn new skills related to hotel maintenance and cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy items.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
