In this role, you will lead and manage complex engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and resources while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.
- You will lend your support to sales activities as you analyze Industrial Process systems to optimize energy usage, emission reductions, productivity, safety and quality.

- Review Process Flow Diagrams
- Calculate Heat and Mass Balances
- Conceptualize Layout Drawings and General Arrangements
- Conceptualize Piping Arrangements
- Mechanical stress design of equipment
- Sketch P&IDs
- Read electrical schematics
- Read programming logic (ladder, function block, structured text)
- Familiarity with Solid Works or other 3D CAD platforms
- Familiarity with TSSA B149 or NFPA 86 codes
What you offer:
- You are familiar with mechanical systems on industrial ovens and furnaces and the underlying combustion science and thermodynamics.
- You have experience in managing projects
- You have a minimum 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical , Mechatronics, Chemical or Controls Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario with good standing or ability to obtain same in a timely manner.
